AJ is back! And we talk about awesome stuff. Namely, the way Jesus told stories, the way we should tell stories, and somehow in the middle of it all we get into a conversation about open-air preaching and traveling the country and sharing the Gospel. After that, we do a segment where we take a parable Jesus told, and create an entire outline for a genre-fiction novel out of it! Buckle up, folks, it's time to dig into stories.
Note: I apologize for the quiet volume of some of the audio in this one. We didn't realize that Connor and AJ weren't close enough to the microphone until afterward. The Purpose of Parables: Here is the section that Connor read that explained the purpose of parables.
Luke 6:45: Here's the reference for that verse we were trying to find!
The Evidence Bible: One of the best study Bibles we've ever come across. Absolutely full of quotes, studies, and footnotes and that are invaluable for understanding the Word of God and how to share it, defend it, and live it.
The Parable of the Wedding Feast: The parable we use to structure the story is found at the beginning of Matthew 22. Check it out!
